HEADLINE: Ethiopia: Ogaden rebels claim killing dozens of soldiers in recent clashes

Radio Freedom correspondent in Nogob Province, Ogaden, has sent us a report on many battles in which colonialist Ethiopian troops were defeated. Most of battles took place in various places in the provinces of Nogob, Jarar, and Korahey.
On 5 May 2007, nine enemy soldiers were killed and 12 others were wounded in a battle that took place in Isku-dhonley. The fighting followed the 4 May gunning down in Isku-dhonley of three enemy soldiers engaged in looting private poverty.
On 2 May 2007, Ogaden liberation fighters attacked an enemy military convoy at Kabtinag near Dalad, killing six soldiers and wounding seven others.
On 29 April 2007, Ogaden liberation fighters carried out a nocturnal attack on enemy troops stationed in Isku-dhonley, inflicting unspecified massive losses on them.
Unspecified heavy losses were inflicted on the enemy after Jerinka was raided on two consecutive nights of 28 and April 2007.
Huge losses were inflicted on enemy troops stationed in Isku-dhonley following a nocturnal raid against them on 28 April 2007.
On 26 April 2007, eight enemy soldiers were killed and 11 others were wounded in a battle in Qudhac-Maydal, which lies between Fik and Babile. On the same day, four enemy soldiers were killed and four others were wounded in fighting that occurred at Gomar in the district of Shaygosh.
On 23 April 2007, eleven enemy soldiers were killed and nine others were wounded in a battle that occurred at Kora Elista Dharkhaynley in Degeh Bur. On the same date six enemy soldiers were killed and eight others were wounded in a battle in Qudha-Maydal.
On 22 April 2007, seven enemy soldiers were killed and four others were wounded in fighting at Qabta in Sagag.
On 20 April 2007, Ogaden liberation fighters conducted an operation in Fik district after learning that puppet militiamen were being assembled there. Four puppet militiamen were wounded in the operation while two others surrendered themselves to the liberation fighters.
On 17 April 2007, fighting took place at Birta Dher near Ton-Eley. Eight enemy soldiers were killed and 10 others were wounded in the battle. On the same date, at Gasangas, an enemy's, Ural truck was destroyed along with all its passengers.
On 16 April 2007 Ogaden liberation forces attacked enemy troops based at Dhanka in Fik and inflicted heavy losses on them, details of which we will report later.
