"Diddys another beat jacker, except he takes an exert and loops it no skill."

That's tha beat jacker that made tha careers of Mase, Mary J Blige, 112, Faith Evans, Tha Lox, and Notorious B.I.G ( an icon).

Hmnnnn....that ain't bad is it? Cool

"Again both these individuals got more then just beat making, and thats being business minded."

Diddy is first and foremost a shrewd and got more out of the business side of it not Kanye. West had no input in the day to day running of Def Jam/Rocafella records Shocked[/quote]

Again theres many factors involved in the success of these two indviduals. Both were hustlers, business men playing a different game during different times. Kanye has his own Imprint, Diddy started the same after he was fired from the first label he was running, cant recall the name. There two apples in the same basket, there egoitistical opportunist. After that Katrina situation Kanye really made a name for himself, genius. Laughing Laughing Laughing

"Again this is going to far, I said it before I NEVER TOOK A LOAN OUT. Tuition in the states is far more different then here."

I made an observation of what Americans do for the betterment of their careers and obviously you took it personal? Why? if you didn't take out student loans then my comments shouldn't matter now should it? If you don't live in the US where do you live since education is alot cheaper?

"Oh so your taking shots thinking being a immigrant taking a loan is rewarding? For the purpose of higher learning, nothing embarrassing beats section 8 and the continued cycle of poverty your ppl have faced for centuries. "

Didn't take any shots but obviously you're sensitive about the issues i mentioned which makes me think that it is in fact true Shocked

If you wanna talk about section 8 then your people are benefitting the most from it in this great nation. My taxes help house, clothed, and feed the Somalis with 8-10 kids per household. Yep that's my taxes with rest of Americans who have enabled your people to benefit from those needs and medicare Shocked Shocked

You've made ignorant assumptions, that I corrected so move on. Take a guess, somewhere in North America where education is cheap and free health care exists. They can thank the US system as I know majority of the tax payers arent minorities and there moneys going to good. Cause those 8-20 children arent going to continue the same cycle your people have become so accustomed too. Laughing Laughing Laughing

"Again theres many factors involved in the success of these two indviduals. Both were hustlers, business men playing a different game during different times."

In case you didn't know, Diddy was a graduate from Howard University in Washington DC. He was an intern at MCA Universal and was hired by Andre Harrell who was responsible for acts like Jodeci MJ blige, Christopher Williams and Devante Swing. Diddy became director of Sales and Marketing and then he eventually left and started Badboy Records in 1994 signing the Notorious BIG, Mase,112 and others.

He was always a businessminded individual not a hustla...lol Cool

Kanye become popular as an artist in 2002/3 when he released his debut album college dropout which was very successful. The Katrina situation occured in Aug 2005. How is it he became a genius then and why isn't he in tha game now? Shocked Shocked Shocked

Did he really graduated from Howard?

Like i said theres alot of factors involved, kanye was a beat maker with alot of drive, he saw the opportunity I guess which made him a bona fide college dropout. Jay-Z contested his ability to whether to sign Kanye cause he was producing consistant hits for rocafella. Anyways hes where he is today cause he filled a gap in hip-hop that wasnt filled before. The Katrina incident was a PR stunt, that got him more noterity then before, thats what i think.

Diddys a purely business, started out hustling and hes got an empire. Cool

Based on the physical demographic of population proportions, u can probably assume that but the facts are there in print. Blacks and other visible minorities do pay higher taxes. In case you didn't know, from an economics standpoint, in Capitalist systems the poor pay the highest amount of taxes to sustain the rich. That would mean that blacks and other visible minorities (hispanic/Latino, Asians) are the ones genuinely footing the bill for the 250,000 somalis riding the gravy train in the usa. Laughing Laughing Laughing

If you consider the raping of our economic resources and medicare by the somalis as a good thing then i guess your people definitely would fit the mould of abusers of the system. I don't think I should be paying to support households who have 10 kids per family. I'd quicker pay for Americans black/white/native indian over immigrants any day of the week Cool

Bruh,

I dislike Kanye West as a person but I respect his game as a producer. He is a college dropout and maybe a hustla but Diddy ain't. He's a businessman from day one and has become a mogul in the industry because of his savvyness and competitive nature. I respect that about his game since alot of people have been successful coming out of D.C Cool

Abdi,

For the record, I have nothing against somalis. I think y'all aiight but every once in a while some individual turns a harmless thread into something about race and nationality which is dumb. I now understand why people here fight about clan bs all the time.
