[Give a reason as to why you chose that over a career pursuing wife ?]
A career interferes with a wife's duties towards her husband, children, house, etc. A career wife who's absent 6-8 hours comes back tired, unable to give proper attention to her husband, children, etc. With a career wife, the duty of raising and caring for the children is relegated to a maid, day-care, etc. Children raised or cared by a maid or day-care grow up to become dysfunctional children. In Islam, unique and complimentary responsibilities are assigned to a husband and wife. Unless a husband cannot work or take care of his family sufficiently, there's no need for a wife to work.
i agree with arabman, i'm traditional at heart (even though i may not act or look like it).
both parents working long hours is the downfall of soceity, just look at the uk, usa etc, the kids grow up with no proper foundation and lack basic morals. this cycle then carries on to other generations
I disagree.....if you liv in arab world or somalia you can be housewife but here in the west is impossible.because in order to be housewife the husband must have 2 jobs to provide for his family.
What kind of life that will be....
-he will be gone day and night
-he will never see the sight of his kids
-when is he gonna spend time with his family
The wife dont have to work fulltime she can work part time while her kids are at school or a few hours at weekends when the husband is home....if both of them help eachother they will mange living a greate life.

2 jobs?
Why two jobs, all u need is one?
People with a uni degree only need one job to get by, am not talking about driving a cab here
