dahal at the moment ONLF is playing a political game.we know that if malez uses the terror card he can bomb towns and have the simpathy of the western world...but we beat him to the punch when he asked for the sitdown talks with us and we refused while the top ONLF leaders were in washingtoc DC for dinner with US congressman in 2006. Cool

on top of that the united states does not want china gaining influence in africa, since china is a major player in world politics..witch is the main reason you didnt hear any western powers denounce the attacks on the chinese oil program.

the weels are greased up and the train is on a roll. Laughing

The ONLF should make their own deal with the Chinese.

I just can't see Meles giving up the Ogaden without a fight. The Ethiopians have a downright fixation on it.

zenawi is facing what siyad bare was facing if you look at all the facts.
if we dont sucsede in our freedom than we will fight till the last ogaden men takes his last breath..that decition has been made long ago.
i promise you zenawi will not rule with ease.

DEATH BEFORE DISHONER. Cool

There's a theory amongst Ethiopian dissidents to Meles' rule, which I think may be true, that the war was orchestrated by Ethiopia and Eritrea in order to strengthen the rule of both ruling parties.

During the war against the Derg, the TPLF and EPLF were allies.

James please believe meles is just a tool for the west with no exit strategy in sight. His attack on Eritrea was foiled, and so will his designs on Somalia.
