Somalia: A bomb blast wounds four in north Mogadishu

Aweys Osman Yusuf

Mogadishu 22, May.07 ( Sh.M.Network) Four government soldiers have been wounded in a huge bomb explosion that took place in Suuqa Hoolaha neighborhood, north of the capital, Mogadishu, Tuesday.

Witnesses told Shabelle that unknown gunmen attacked a garage in the area where Somali government soldiers were based. The forces fired random shots after the incident.

Four soldiers were wounded in today’s explosion.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the series of bomb attacks carried out on the Somali and foreign forces in the capital since the Ethiopian backed interim government seized control of Mogadishu in early this month.
