What do you think of women who just pull out their breast in public?
No preverty comments please, I'm serious.. Lets talk about the ethics in this, women who breast feed in public

Today I was on the train and some white old lady had the cutest black kid with her, he was light in color so I am assuming his hers. Anyhow, he kept looking at me and I kept on smiling back. To my amazement, the women pulled the kids head to her chest and woops a quick flash of her breast and he was content for some time. Moments later he came out for a breather, she hid herself and then woops again to the next side. !!
The train was full!!!!! I couldn't believe it.. It's not like it was necessary because he wasn't moaning or anything.

Ok, I'm totally against it, not just in terms of modesty.. but it's disrespectful.

Breastfeeding is a natural process. In Somalia, it was a regular event. In America, thanks to American perversion and obsession with anything associated with breasts, it is a fau pax.

The most uncomfortable breastfeeding incident in my life occured while I worked with a refugee resettlement agency and on one of our trips picking up a 'Bantu' family from the airport in 2003, the mother's breast was uncovered. I was with my co-workers who asked me to kindly tell her to cover up as I was the only Somali speaker in the group. I told her to cover. Then she said: "What is the point? I had to keep pulling it out from my dress all day long, I might as well, let it stay out." She refused to push it back in to her dress, I just wanted to DIE. Embarassing!!!!!!!!1

InshaAllah I will breast feed my baby/ies.. If Allah wills. But why would I do it in public?--God Forbide, Deen wise, it is off boundaries and I just have a big problem with it. Maybe with something over me and the baby, but still only at desperate times. I am not questionning whether it is natural or not because if only you knew how much good deeds is from the simplest breast feed even men would want to. But I am talking about PUBLICLLY.
Advoc--Excatly what I'm saying. Why not go to the public toilets even??-The baby changing room?

'Bantu' culture is very RAW. She let it hang out and wasn't even embarassed about it. I avoided looking at her face during the entire trip, her husband was also with her and they had like 6 kids with them, none of the family members were concerned. My co-workers were SHOCKED. I ignored them.

Anyway, they have a little gadget for breasteeding these days. The mother wears it and covers up the child while the baby breastfeeds in public. It has little holes for air and nobody sees the action. I see them in Wal-mart or even Walgreens.
