do you think lying is right?

Is there ever a time that lying is right? Or do you feel that it is just flat out wrong?
Growing up, i only use to lie to get myself out of trouble when it came to my family but now believe it is just flat out wrong?

lying is never good, BUT sometimes we need to lie, to maybe save someone's or yourselfs live ( not to get yourself out of trouble when it came to your family) ..everyone lies sometimes, little white lies are the ones people tell in order to not hurt someone else's feelings...some lies are bad, some people are pathological liars, in other words they would tell a lie even if the truth sounded better...LYING IS NEVER RIGHT
