Gedo there is a 1995 adaptation, the bbc version, the BEST to date. Check it out.
Screw--- SCREWWWWWWWWWWWWW UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!! That Keira version is puking! i walked out of the film after spiting on the carpet in front of disgusted american Gaalo dumb audiences!
Everything about that adaptation is dumb-sized that its puking! First--the most of the key actors are americans-- BIG problemo! Accent thing! uufff Second of all-- the Economy of The Bennets was a little bit exaggerrated, they made them intensely impoverished. The real bennets were poor but by no means-- Chokoraa. and above all-- what really pissed me off not withstanding the simple English language--absolutely nothing came out of the book-- it was dumbed-down to please dumb americans----NO most ANNOYING aspect was--Mr. Darcy was this pretty delicious model looking actor--Gosh --Mr. Darcy is supposed to be average looking Rogue-- some serious looking man-- a strong silent almost handsome man. This pretty boy was a work of fruit cake art!
NO i beg your pardon the MOST annoying aspect is --the scene when Mr, Darcy actually kisses Elizabeth Bennet!! Inaa lilaah waa inaa ileehi rajiiun! That was absolutely disgusting hedee-- i puke all the way to the rest rooM!
Do you think Yurub would like to go to dinner at some posh place on Newbury St., see the BBC adaptation at the theater, and then sit around and chat near the Au Bon Pan with some Haagen Daz gourmet ice cream chatting in the warm Boston evening breeze?

Mikey@Looool Everything about Basra is Flowery my dear-- u should know by now!
Gedo i am more than willing to confess i am single and not pregnant, the mood allows it. But SERIOUSLY Gedo--- i am really ---well ----surprised. Walaahi lucky Aideedress, who is your date.MAshaalaah.
well, i didn't read the book, i admit i was not a fan of it, not even close so i assumed what i saw in the film was pretty much what was in the book itself. i can only imagine how angry die hard fans like yourself must feel when hollywood toys with a timeless piece of literature. it's always wise to do it right or not to do it at all.
Screw i am DIE hard fan of classic literature. This Andrew Davie guy also adapted many Charles dicken novels, also Elizabeth gaskells Wives and daughters.Absolutely brilliant man. I could marry him if he was 50 years younger.
