MJ just had more of a will to win than anybody else.

Anybody remember Miller's 25-point game 4th quarter against the Knicks w/ the Spike Lee choking thing?

[quote="Gedo_Boy"]I used to hate KOBE w/ a passion........but then his rape trial came and I felt sorry for him almost having his life thrown away by a star-struck skank who was running a sperm bank in her panties.

He's battling w/ insecurities.........but now he's realized he's a prick and doesn't deny his problem anymore.......and that is the 1st step to successful rehabilitation.

Gedo Boy,

As much as I hate saying it, what made Jordan great in his playing days was:

1. His ability to manufacture points at the foulline even when he had a horrible shooting nite.
2. His ability to create and make average players around him look like superstars.

He did that with Steve Kerr, John Paxson and the rest of his supporting cast in Chicago. I went to the Game 7 playoff game between Knicks and The Bulls at MSG in 1994 and that was the only time we beat Chicago in a post season series. That was the yr that jordan decided to play minor league baseball.

Haha....the only difference between the bulls and the knicks was MJ. Take Jordan out of the equation and those 6 championships would have most likely been in Gotham City Cool

#1baller,

However he did it, he DID IT everytime it mattered.

Besides, he had SO many clutch plays/games throughout his career that it didn't really matter who he had with him.

I remember when we were kids we used to laugh when Phil Jackson was screaming in the huddle......we would always say he was saying something like: "Paxson, guard the permimeter, Pippen watch the driving lane.......JORDAN! Keep doing what you're doing" Laughing

Gedo,

don't even bring that up. Miller always got fired up coming to the Garden. That playoff game was lost in 8 seconds where he scored like 11 pts. We did win the series against Indy tho. Cool

True but he had a penchant for killing my team. I remember him saying that he hated being guarded by the bulldog Xavier McDaniel. That guy was tough. Cool

i remember Miller's 4th Q phenomenon againts the Knicks, i was rooting for him, hell, during that era i would root for anyone to beat them Knicks. the pacers were really good in those days too, too bad Michael came back and ruined all their plans. it was fun watching Reggie and Spike go at it though Cool

Yeah, but I like Steven A Smith's enthusiasm........it's like he's talking about a nuclear war. I'm like relax man it's just basketball.

#1baller,

As a Knicks fan growing up, I'm old enough now that it doesn't bother me. But the fact remains that the Bulls owned the KNICKs in the '90s................MJ was too strong and he was the reason.

However, MJ is kinda pissing me off w/ how overpriced his Jumpman shoe brand is becoming...........all these broke hoodkids doing whatever it takes to buy those sneaks and he is making it cost so much.

I respect Shaq for putting his shoes at Payless.........that's some self-sacrafice. Shaq's a cool guy.

ha ha !

i refused to click on that link, do you have any idea what you're starting here?! what is up with you Knick fans eh? that dunk is all the highlight you can ever find of this rivalry while Bulls fans can find hundreds of hours from the archives. now, YOU becareful b/c i don't want to have open the door to those archives and bring back bad memories for you. Laughing the other thing, Steven A Smith is alright, he's very funny to watch, i can never take him seriously though. Peter Vecsey on the other hand, now THAT is a man that i highly respect for his tell-it-like-is attitude, he was a great addition to the NBA on NBC crew and should have also been on the TNT crew following the NBA/NBC contract expiration. they don't call him "The Viper" for nothing, Cool

Steven A. Smith just talks too much shiit and at times he's just wrong on all fronts but then again he get s paid by ESPN to talk shiit doesn't he? Laughing

"As a Knicks fan growing up, I'm old enough now that it doesn't bother me. But the fact remains that the Bulls owned the KNICKs in the '90s................MJ was too strong and he was the reason."

Well, I'm still a young kat that why it pains me so much. True knick fans hate bulls and MJ. I'm a member on the ultimateknicks.com fan site and every ever so often a thread comes up about Jordan and the bulls.

"However, MJ is kinda pissing me off w/ how overpriced his Jumpman shoe brand is becoming...........all these broke hoodkids doing whatever it takes to buy those sneaks and he is making it cost so much."

Guess he's trynna make that money back that Nike took from him all those years ago. At one time Jordan kicks were dirt cheap in NY. I remember when my dad bought me my first Patrick Ewing shoe in '92 they were alot at the time compared to MJ's.

"I respect Shaq for putting his shoes at Payless.........that's some self-sacrafice. Shaq's a cool guy."

LoL...nobody buys Shaq shoes which explains why its probably available on the clearance racks at payless. Laughing
