Gonzales No-Confidence Vote Dies In Senate

Postby SummerRain » Mon Jun 11, 2007 11:52 pm

"They can have their votes of no confidence, but it's not going to make the determination about who serves in my government," Bush said in Sofia. . ."
Republican senators take note: This is not your government, nor is it the Democrat's government.nor is it the Independent's government, nor is it the government of the people of the United States of America. It is George W Bush's government, his own private government."

- G.W. Bush

we should all get one of those. Shocked

So, does it really matter who votes or not. Whether the Dems ( who lack enough testesrone to even win in 2008) or the Republicans are in control here. Its Potatoes, potatos...no difference. I think over the next two years that lack of achievements from the Dems is going to cost them dearly in 2008.

Gonzales has nothing to celebrate about surviving this very vote today. The fact that Many U.S. Senators called for it and successfully held it is a permanent and historic stain on his tenure in and of itself! Thanks to the Republicans and weak Dems now we have an idiot and weakened U.S. Attorney General, who is in the truth of the word a Puppet for the President. Perhaps, Bush promised him that he will free all the Mexicans. Damwit.

political appointees is the rule of the game. the senate confirmed him as attorney general and now george w. bush says the buck stops with him. veto power, game over. is gonzales worse than john ashcroft, the mormon dude who was the previous attorney general? i don't think so. he is the poor hispanic dude who made tsunami waves in d.c. don't hate the playa, hate the game.

Jr,

As much as your ideas shound great and all, it is not going to happen. Congress failed to stop funding the war on Iraq and sending more troops, because Bush said so. Do you honestly think, he will allow his poodle to be killed. Absolutely, NOT.

He said it today:

MY GOVERNMENT, MY GOVERNMENT, MY GOVERNMENT.
And that is with 38% in the polls.
