What to make of Asha Haji Elmi?

I was watching this video where Caasho Xaagi Cilmi and her 'Sixth Clan' group of females, and I'm not particularly sure what to make of her. My grandfather tells me she had the Women's Affairs portfolio during the Barre Government.

I briefly met her last year in Nairobi. Ms Elmi is an educated, intelligent woman who runs her own NGO in Mogadisho. She advocates for the betterment of the status of women in Somalia esp Mogadisho!

that is funny, a somali old dude like your grandfather likes young girls. ask here lamagodleys about their grandfathers? why don't you like her, is it cause you believe ur grandfather's views about her? expalin?

She seems like smart, rational woman who understands peace. Any future Somali government will have to incorporate women to the political process and not just token positions.

If you are asking about her clan, she is Habar Gidir. She used to work with Hooyooyinka before the civil war and started her own NGO after the war. She ran an orphanage and a woman's workshop in Mogadishu for over 10 years.

In my opinion, she is a patriot!
