The entire adoon in the bus descended on her,old afro woman, young afro woman, afro men, invalid afro men, they all wanted to beat her up, the bus driver had to intervene. Thankfully, the bus driver was an arab man from egypt...he called police and she got a ride to protect her life.Since then she is absolutely not permitted to take public transport nor speak to any Afro american people.

your statement " most blacks don't care about history" is false. I know for a given fact that a high percentage of African-Americans would love to know about their history and culture but its something that isn't widely available to them.

You do have a valid point tho about the "black man" blaming whites for their life struggles but that for the most part occurs with blacks who lack any education and looking for a "scapegoat". The ones that went to college/University do not do that. They have moved above and beyond those days which has transcended into why we have more successful black people that are multi-millionaires today that we did 20 yrs ago

Most African-Americans I met are well aware were they originated from. But, there are other factors one must consider when talking about history. I think two hundred years is a long time; a long and old history indeed, and while there are lots of African-Americas who will tell you that they would rather move away from being stereotyped as just an Africans, there are others who feel close to their Africa’s roots. Just like those of other ethnics; like the European Jews, the Latinos, the Italians, and Irish who’s their grandparents landed in Ellis Island just in early 19th century, whilst African Americans feel they are very much an American than any of these groups. I think the reason we are having this discussion is that most of us do like to think ourselves as Afro-Americans and would want to know how and where we fit in America.

baller, what i said above is true about the blacks that i've been around all of my life, wether educated or not, they simpy don't care.

I personally admire great African American leaders like malcolm x, he was a true icon and loved my many Africans not just African americans. Malcolm x was black power, he wanted to fight the whites.
