Hereri's departure isn't as a result of dicontent with Yusuf Garaad's management. From what I heard, Hereri and Garaad were best pals in the newsroom. But Hereri's departure has more to do with the fact that the new VOA station has no bigname Isaaq anchorman in their team. Hereri will balance out the already big names like Kolonbo (Hawiye) and Koronto (Daarood) in the VOA newsroom.

Btw, does anyone know what clan is Xaraare from?

Good for Ina Hereri , Yusuf Garad in just a few years have turned the BBC to a joke, all of the bug names have left the building, the BBC went from 99% Isaaq to a 90% Mooryaan with funky accents and funny sounding names like Bashkax-Jug-soo-dhacey, Yabarow, with Ina Hereri's departure from Bush house there is only Cawke left to turn out the lights

I don't listen to the BBC on a regular basis, but when I listen to it I get a fair and balance news.

I don't get the impession that I i am listing to radio reer hebel like other online radios.

Yusuf Garaad is doing a superb job and is one of the most skilled and talented head the BBC ever had. The reason Hareeri is leaving is simple; more money. VOA Somali's was set up to compete with BBC Somali and woo their listeners into listening VOA Somali. That has failed and now VOA is after BBC Somali team It is not going to work because BBC Somali has been there for so many years and has a reputation and a name that can’t be challenged by people like Koronto and Xaraare.
