I liked a lot of R&B in the early 90's. Escape, 3LW, Shaniece, Boyz II Men, Jodecie etc... But I did like Naughty by nature. In the later 90's straight hard core rap, like Biggie, 2 Pac etc.

She sang it to the USC Army right before the USC Operation Iron Fist on the Darood Armies in 1992. Her songs boosted the moral of the USC troops who went on to throw Siyaad out of Somalia
