Kids are a too much work: Horrors of Babysitting

Postby AbdiWahab252 » Mon Jun 25, 2007 9:32 am

My cousin suc.kered me into babysitting her 2 children: ages 5 and 7.

The lil brats wore me out and got me thinking if I wanted to have any children. For nearly 10 hours, they were causing chaos: going into my room, finding stuff that they shouldn't have seen, spilling stuff, creating a mess and constantly fighting each other.

I mean what is gained from having children ? 18-23 years of mooching off you, Disappointments when they fail to do what you want them to do, Back talk, and the sheer possibility of them throwing u into Old Folks homes when u get old.

There was a study that said the cost of raising one child to age 18 is about $1 million.

I think it's different here than back home where it was more relaxed and there were always lots of people in the household to watch over the kids, so really you didn't have to constantly monitor them. Now over here, you as the parent is the sole guardian you can't leave them alone for a second because neigbors will call 911 on you or worse they get kidnapped by peadophiles or wackos. Additonally, there is no booyeeso to clean after them... So all in all nowadays it's a little more stressful I think.

Demure,

Tell me about it.

There are so many bad arse kids that I would love to have sent back to Galkacyo to work with the family livestock.
