Sadaam requested that I direct him to Somali cultural and historical resources. Sadaam is in North America and I wanted to direct him to Indiana University at Bloomington. I was trying to retrieve the website so he can go there and do research in Bloomington. But lo and behold, they have digitized some of their archives.

Very interesting. I have already finished in the last couple of hours the book on Qamaan Bulxan and Wiilwaal.

Very interesting reading, the Qamaan book. We wont be hearing the Ogaadeens tell us that they were Mujaahid darwiishes anymore I suspect

In 1897, before the arrival of the Galti Mareexaan (Talxe, Faarax Ugaas, reer Axmed and Cali Dheere), they were around 70,000 reer Xassan in Jubbaland, 70,000 Ogaadeen and merely 2,600 Harti.

There were more Carabs (6,000) than Harti.
