Greetings brothers and sisters, yesterday, I bought tickets to visit Yemen (i'm half Yemeni) and Eritrea. I've been to Yemen countless of times, but this will be my first trip to Eritrea. The only knowledge of Eritrea i have are, Eritrea is 80% Muslim country, their women are hot and Eritreans seem to love Somalis. I'll visit Eritrea via a ship, I will cross the red sea and land on Dahlak Island and from there, I will visit Massawa and the city i've been told to see of Asmara. So if any one has been to Eritrea, please tell me what to be careful about...with the exception of these pictures and a youtube video just posted on youtube's front page of Asmara, Eritrea, I hardly know anything about this nation.
I went there ten yrs ago. Its a very nice city, beautiful as hell. There is enough patio restaurants in the downtown area with pretty much anything u want to eat. Couldn't tell u what not to do. Addis is nowhere close to Asmara, Asmara is a much better city.
