Dhabayaco?

Now, I know what iidoor, qaldaan, ilkayar, cagdheer, and so forth -- mean.

However, they all seem like nice and friendly names you'd give to a buddy of yours, but Dhabayaco just sounds like a mean and scary name, like something you'd label a criminal with!

Its like five buddies sitting at a table and they're playing spin the bottle, and their buddy Dhabayaco comes in, and they grab the bottle, smash him to death and lay him bleeding?

I mean, Dhabayaco, even if the meaning is lost to me, doesn't sound nice or friendly at all -- why did you idiots come up with a name like that???

Anyone know the meaning?

The shortest people are the farmers. Majerteen were merchants and warlords throughout their history, and herders, not farmers. You can't lead so many large animals while standing half their size like some of the Southern clans. The short, pudgy, muscle-bound people live south of Mudug. Your theory doesn't fly.

Majerteen only became farmers after the 1800's when they moved into Jubbada Hoose, but before then, I can't say your theory has an ounce of weight.
