I have been married for 5 years now.
1. How to identify one ?
-Depends on what kind of a wife you are looking for. If you're looking for a good wife & a good mother to your future kids, she will never be at clubs, weddings, etc. A pary girl is not a good wifey material. You need a mature woman!
2. How did u meet this person ?
-To get the dirt on the person you wish to marry, you keep it close, maybe a family friend, a sister of a friend, etc. You can find her at social gatherings, halal meat ( ), masjid ( if you go to one).
3. Advantages/Disadvantages of using brokers (parents, the Imam @ the Masjid, etc)
-Brokers that you trust can be very useful. Example is a friend of your sister, you can get all the 411 from asking around. Qof la yaqaano wey fududahay in wax laga o'gaado.
4. How long did u get to know that person b4 committing ?.
-Again, it depends on what you are looking for. Personally, I don't believe in fooling around. I got married after knowing my wife for a very brief period of time. You can learn a lot from a person by spending an hour with them, anything more than a few months together is just fooling around.
