I guess Galjeecel didn't want to take the blood money they were offered. Anyhow, hopefully this man made Tawbah, and Allah forgives his sins. Its better to pay for it in this life, then the next
Also maybe this could be an example to other Somalis, that have no idea how to run any sort of state, that you must make these tough decisions to kill your own tribesmen as justice and Xaqq calls for. Hopefully Galjeecel Vs Talxe is over now.
wow, no more going to war over murderers. Let criminals pay the price and leave in peace with each other I say. I'm totally impressed with the reer Kismaayo.
Hopefully this will put an end to people killing other people. Once they realise no one is going to protect a murderer, no one will commit such a heinous crime.

That is how it should be...I know the families of both killed men are mourning but this will stop the fitna to spread...I wish every clan would adopt this style....Masha Allaah...
Eyes only, the only other people who did these practices were the ICU prior, and I was impressed with them. However its not like this is an Islamic emirate so this is pretty darn impressive for the civil society to agree on this. This is the only way to bring true law and order. I think this says something about Galjeecel and Sade about their willingness to do this.
Talxe, always the troublemakers. They started attacking Gaaljecel in the first place. In the colonial times, they were the first ones of the Galti Mareexaan to attack the British Posts.
Warsame, did Talxe always live in Beerxano? I'm thinking they had to, because I couldn't imagine they would leave Bardhere, to settle in a Tulo outside Kismayo. But I've heard stories that these guys move around a lot. They would travel from Gedo to Lower Jubba for grazing.
