Rajon Rondo (I followed him at Kentucky) is quick as a whistle, could jump, get in the lane but he can't shoot to save his life and isn't gonna cut it. All BS needs is a PG who could shoot like that Gibson guy in Cleavland or Mike Bibby. Maybe a guy like Lindsey Hunter won't be a bad pickup? Lakin to all the Ray Allen haters out there, they don't know what they're talking about. This guy averaged like 24+ for the past 5 seasons or so. He could flat out shoot.

Al Jefferson= 20 and 10 guy and he's only 22.
Gerald is a high flyer and could possibly be a vince carter type in 3-4 years. dude is younger then me Laughing
Theo ratliff is an expiring contract of 11 mil per.
bassy is as good as his cousin but the guy doesn't have his head straight.

Plus 2 first rounders. Laughing

In the long run minny will be better off.

Boston in the short term can take the east only if they can get a brevin night as a PG. Rando can't run the point yet. and a MLE like C.webb. that bench is looking thin.

Screw,

I still don't see how this trade makes the Celtics better. Yes they acquire KG for a bunch of scrubs but Paul Pierce is too soft a player and Ray Allen is what 33 yrs old on the decline. He is going to get abused.

The Celtics chance of glory went a few seasons back when they had Walker, Pierce and the rest of the supporting cast that took them too the EC semis. Acquiring Garnett at this stage is a case of a little too late for them. Garnett is also on the decline.

Its a great piece of business by Danny Ainge but if I was a T-Wolves fan, I would take out a hit on McHale. He's a focking moron for dealing Garnett so late in his career. Shocked

This guy singlehandedly destroyed KG's career in Minnesota. Sad

Isn't there more to this trade with the Lakers. I thought that there was suppose to be a four team trade btw Timberwalves, Celtics, Pacers and Lakers that would get KG to the Lakers. If it stays as it is both team will probably benefit from this trade. With Pierce in place, Ray Allen and KG will for sure make the Celtics a powerhouse. Timberwalves had nothing going for'em the last couple of yrs so something had to change. Both Jefferson and Green r very promising players that could be a perfect fit for the wolves.

Gatspy,

Acquiring Garnett at 31/32 yrs old doesn't put tha Celtics over the top even with Ray Allen in their roster. They are missing too many pieces. This is a bad trade for either team. Minnesota gets a few young players with potential and decent contracts. Celtics have taken on alot of salary here acquiring Garnett and Ray Allen. Garnett would've been better off being traded to GSW or Lakers or even Houston. I think Minnesota gets raped by Boston if tha league approves this deal. No first rounders for KG. Are you kidding me? Shocked

sxb neither KG nor Allen is a hasbeen. They're both in very good shape and got afew more yrs left in'em and can easily change the dynamic of that team making them big contenders in the East. The Celtics have been trying to rebuild and stablish a strong team for a long time, and like u said they had their chance back when Walker and Pierce where playing very good together. I really do agree with u when it comes to the first rounders on Wolves end cause it defeats the whole purpose of rebuilding the team.

KG is a 22 13 and 4 guy last year.

Pierce is a 25 ppg and same with allen.

They are in there late prime and the three have got three years too win some ships.
