I think, in general, welfare makes many young Muslims apologists. Those without welfare are far better in many respects, educationally, financially, and especially being independent to criticize the West. I sometimes wonder, by affecting a Muslim's loyalty to Islam/Muslims, if welfare is Islamically compliant.

I don't think Somali Americans are a big problem, its Somalis in Europe who are ungrateful to the state that has given them shelter, blowing themselves up and shit.

I have a 20 foot flagpole in my backyard, the stars and stripes stand high in my house. I have a 'God Bless America' bumper, and my family actively donates $70/month to our local police precinct, though in return we get an updated bumper sticker monthly which minimizes punishment from the law.

All in all, my host state means more to me than a foreigner, I don't care if he's Iraqi or Chinese.
