Sijuis are suspicious characters by nature, being under the boot of the Bantu administration for so long has taken a great toll on their self confidence and self esteem. The ones from NFD are spiteful at best and grossly nasty at worst. They specialize in snitching, sabotaging and utter insolence, no one feels safe in their quarters, plus they feel closer to the addoon than their Somali counterpart. Trust is an alien word for them and the lives of their guests is worth few Shillings for them, a praise or a pat on the head by an addon policeman. Despite all that, there are some with elements of humanity in their bones but they are outnumbered.
