No i'm not considered Zambo. I'm a lil diffrent from 'em. My mother is Jamaican east Indian not native Amerindian.

Garifunas was a term given to people in central america namely Guatemala and nicaragua i believe who were mixed black (caribbean descent St Vincent to be exact) and Hispanic.

Costa Rica has quite a huge population of people with jamaican descent who live on the Caribbean coast of that nation. the jamaicans live inthe province of Limon. I guess in a way I am zambo.
I am the descendent of black Seminoles. Because of the one drop rule that was forced in America the Irish blood in me was never officially recognized. My great grand mother would have been considered white if she had been born today. She was probably less that 1/8th black but because of that rule black is what she was considered.

Very interesting. I never heard tha term " black seminoles" before. And yea that infamous one drop rule is something that should be discarded imho. It really doesn't do any justice to people who have white blood even tho they make look white on the exterior.

Very false statement. That is a good demonstration on ur limited knowledge on African-Americans. African-Americans of Caribbean descent are very in touch with their history and their culture. Matter of fact if you visit NY, Miami, Hartford, Boston, D.C. and LA. You will realise that first hand.
