London Underground Strike!!

Postby Beenaale_No1 » Tue Sep 04, 2007 6:04 pm

Absolutely fuming at the moment - these lazy final salary pension bastards bring the whole city to a standstill because they want a guarantee that they're not going to lose any pension or their jobs as a result of metro net going bust....

Whole thing is a mess. Me and my other couple Wolves amigos had to walk to Victoria Station just so we could get a train to Wolverhampton. Our commute took us 120 minutes instead of 40.

When they come back to work on Friday I will be so tempted to shout a whole load of abuse at the driver. Even though its not their fault - its the maintenance workers!

Sack 'em all.

Rant Over.

I don't have a car anymore - And besides with the congestion charges and the woeful car parkings in London, I'd rather take underground trains. Smile

Ministry of Transport test.

Its a test every car has to go through and pass before they can be used on the roads. You go to a garage and they test the car and issue you a certificate.

Bastards can charge you a lot of money just by "creating" a problem with car.

Its called Car Inspection in the US thats if u live in a state where every ur car needs to be inspeacted and pass an emission test and if not ur screwed.

As for Londn i just hope they overhaul them trains in the UK its a shame that they think of themselves at the no 1 EU country and yet lack behind centuries when it comes to Transport especially the subway system. some of yall Londoners might wanna try the parii Metro and witness what a subway system should throughly look like and operate. Cool

What school were you looking at?

Yeah, we quite strict with parking here. A country, more or less same size as California, with 60 million inhabits and where cars are cheap as fuck there are going to be parking problems.

Just look at our roads. Quite possibly the worst in the Western world.

Our transport system is an embarrassment for a country like England. Its horrendous.

Stratford was a complete nightmare.

I was walking up the escalator and there was about 350 people outside. In the end they had to get Police to put up barriers to get us out.

Btw, you heard the this one Laughing
