I think besides Kambuli, I'm the only female here who talks politics. I'm blunt and expressive about my views of Somali politics that does not make me a qabiliste. U are calling me one because I dont share the same political views as yourself. However, my approach to Somali affairs and yours are of difference.

Somalia: Heavy clashes erupt in some parts of Mogadishu city.

Mogadishu 06, Sept.07 ( Sh.M.Network)- Gunfire and bomb explosions could be heard in and around Hilawa district in northeast Mogadishu.

This latest clashes which erupted around 10:20 Pm believed to be between the govt. forces and Islamic insurgents at SOS settlements and former Perfume factory in Hilawa District but the casualties have remained unclear, Omar Yare, a local resident told to Shabelle Radio.

Omar says, both Sides are exchanging heavy weapons including Rocket propelled grenades, machineguns and automatic rifles.
The fighting reported to be continuing in three frontlines, at the moment.

Meanwhile, heavy gunfire and loud explosions could be heard from BarUbah Intersection at 30 Street known as (wada Sodanka) what is also now believed to be other clashes between insurgents and the govt. troops who have bases at those areas.
It is yet to verify any casualties;

Somalia had lacked an effective government since the 1991 ouster of the former dictator Mohamed Siad Barre.

Mogadishu, the epicentre of fighting, has seen a surge of guerrilla-style attacks -- roadside bombs and hit-and-run tactics -- targeting government officials, Ethiopian troops.

its easy to chase traitors..they dont put up much fight..

here how it goes..2 member of Muqaawama are sent to moqdishu neighbourhood,they take the local youngsters with them promising them the captured guns...around 20-30 tfg "soldiers" with 3-4 technicals are usually stationed there...it takes only less than 10 fighters to knock them off..most of them give up or surrender quickly..they dont get killed ,but they are told if they arecaptured again they are done...thats how it goes everytime.

What chaos? I am cleaning my city from filty invaders and it takes fire to do thatunfortunately..Does it take a genius to figure out there are no press freedom in accuppied terratory??its dictated by the force in power..in this case the Tigray...
