DOnt uguys think, that we Somalis should have their own script of writing?

I mean this latin script is making me sick, its not unique at all!

i think all somali intellectual should get together and devise a new script not like any other made before...


or should we adopt the osmania scipt?

How about adopting the Cusmaaniya Script? It is native Somali script and unique.

I've been trying to learn cusmaniya, but it's pretty complicated. The symbols and it's based on arabic makes it very difficult. But it's truly a unique somali script.

Are you missing chromosomes? Read the link you posted carefully. This is what it says: "The names of the letters are based on Arabic letter names." That is what I meant, the script is unique but it uses arabic letters.
