Iran rejects 'impossible' nuclear suspension

Postby *jr » Mon Sep 10, 2007 8:44 pm

Why is US pushing Iran to completely stop all nuclear development, no matter what the purpose?

Let's hear it...what's your take on this?

Iran's top nuclear negotiator says it is "impossible" for Tehran to yield to the key Western demand over its nuclear program, even if the UN Security Council imposes further sanctions.

The reaffirmation by Ali Larijani of Iran's refusal to suspend uranium enrichment activities comes a day ahead of a crucial meeting in Vienna of the UN atomic energy agency on the Iranian nuclear program.

"A suspension is impossible. Even if you vote two other resolutions, we will not suspend," said Mr Larijani in an interview with state television.

"If there is a new resolution, our position will stay the same," he added.

*jr, I think it's reasonable that Iran acquires a few 100's of nuclear warheads. The world would be safer then.

With the return of Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan, it appears Perv's days may be numbered, so it may be a necessity to offset the Pro-U.S, nuclear armed Pakistan with another nuclear power in the region.

Gentlemen,

The reason of the conflict is not the nuclear issue itself for the US. The US is now building more nuclear bombs, tactical and otherwise in violation of their NPTA commitments. But while Israel, Pakistan, India, and North Korea, had built their own nuclear bombs the US did not send its nuclear carriers to their shores.....Instead the US is turning its eyes away from the Israeli bombs, has effective control of Pakistani bomb through controlling the Pakistani dictator Musharraf, and gained control over Indian nuclear facilities after entering recently into agreement to supply India with nuclear fuel, and finally has neutralized North Korean nuclear facilities through negotiations and economical bribes.

Of course this has nothing to do with nuclear arms control, but on global economy, to build and empire through the control of world resources.

If you recall the former French President, Jacques Chirac, stated that “nuclear Iran does not pose any threat on world peace”.

So, the reason this administration is spreading the fear about technological advanced Iran is nothing to do with nuclear weapons, but much to do with the hegemony they have with the middle east resources.
