Somalia: Fresh clashes erupts in Mogadishu.


Mogadishu 12, Sept.07 ( Sh.M.Network)- Fierce fighting is taking place at a former defense ministry, in southern part of Mogadishu, the capital city of Somalia.

The fighting is believed to be between Ethiopian forces and insurgents who oppose Ethiopian presence in Somalia.
An exchange of heavy gunfire and mortar rounds could be heard through the environs of the former defense ministry which Ethiopians are now housing.

According to Mohammed Bashir, A freelance journalist in the area near where the fighting is happening, the fighting has broken out after Insurgents have launched a barrage of attacks on the defense ministry compound on Tuesday night.

The damage of the fighting is not clear as the details of the event are still coming up.
