I think Dawlad just got confused or something. It beats me why Marehan would live in Galkacio. Pretty much my whole Dad's side of the family have been in Kismayo since the 90's, and theres always Beled Hawa, Bardhere, Cabudwaq etc. to live in. Virtually every Marehan subclan has a whole city thats theres. With all the land Marehan have from Galgudud, Gedo, Jubboinka etc. why would they want to live in Galkaciyo of all places?

However signifigant numbers of Wagherdhac do live there, but since there 100% Reer Mudug, that would make sense.
