There are no neighborhoods in Garowe, you can walk from one end to the other in 20 minutes.

I don't like the desert tulo, but I have no where to return to in Jamaame or Xamar, so Garowe is my adopted town.

Paid,

Why are you acting like you've faced persecution in Jamame? Or do you feel more secure if Adeer Afgudud is overseeing things. Laughing

You should have seen the Mongols as they sacked and looted our home in Jamaame, they came in their horses with flaming arrows and crossbows. They pelted our home with hundred-kilo rocks and flooded the streets with boiling oil.

Xaafada Kacaanka is now overrun with Mongols. Sad

I can't go back!!

Paid, wanna hear something funny?

About all my nephews and nieces (cousins kids) were born in Kismayo in the early '90s. Surprised

For them, they don't even know any other place. Laughing

There ARE distinct neighbourhoods in Garowe. You have the old Garowe, the new Garowe (ex-airfield area) with large mansions and villas, office buildings and hotels and than you have the rest of Garowe where the majority of the people live. The three parts meet at the open square in front of the large prison in the inner city.

Laascaanood for instance is much larger than Garowe, but Garowe is lightyears ahead of Laascaanood in terms of everything.

^ Lascanood has a larger diameter than Garowe, but Garowe as a whole is slightly bigger, and in population I'd say Garowe is 5-10k more. Lascanood is roughly around the size of Qhardo (which is a huge town in its own right).

Correct. Yes, they need trees there, just a few palm trees for good looks.
