The warsangali are less then 20% of Sanaag clans. James Dahal have to understand that the so called Muxumud are not Daarood but a hunterer gatherers clans (less then 70 years ago most somali clans never intermarried with this clan and few histroical Isaaq poems deried the Daarood of intermarrying with the Midgaan Muxmumeds) that were incoprated into Daaroodsim out of sheer wants of numbers.
Another example is almost 45% of the land that is calimed by the Warsangali belong to the non-somali clans of Ogayslabe they are not Daarood nor Dir nor Isaaq they are the decendant of some Indians/Arab ship wrecked survivors who later married some Daarood woman and multiplied they landed at the coast of Laas Qori some 800 years ago and they don't regard themselvs as Harti nor Daarood, also Jabraahiil which is minor sub clan of Ogaadeen shares the land with these infalted Warsangali last but not least inlcude among that the share of Dhulos and Gahayle (Siiwaaq Roon , majeerteen subclan) and then you can figuer out how exagerated these warsangali claims .. are.
In 1960 during the regional election the entire Daarood of Sanaag had a single sit while the city of Ergavo was always a H.Y Isaaq land and the particular ancesetor of the Muuse Ismaaciil is buried within the district of Ceerigabo.
Warsangali have no place anywhere near Ceelafweyne , in fact from west Ceelafweyn to Sarmaanyo that land and the in between plaines are divided among the Sacad Yoonis (H.Y) and the Naaleeye Axmed and thats some 150skm , In west of Ceerigaabo the warsangali don't even make it west of Yube , the warsangali are no where near Ceerigaabo the city by any means and in 1991 they were cleansed out of the city and almost 80% of their land was taken by the Sacad Yoonis and Muuse Ismaaciil only in 1993 after 4 years of war where the Daarood of Sanaag caputilated the agreement of Xingalool was reached in 1993 between the 2 Daarood sub-clans of Warsangali and Dhulos and the 2 Isaaq sub-clans the Habar Jeclo and H.Y then and only then were the Daarood were allowed to come back to Ceerigaabo with conditions.
