there is no such thing as NFD. Its called North Eastern Province . It cannot be part of somalia because somalia is in chaos. there are many tribes in africa that live in two or more countries, its not just somalis who are divided by national borders. if kenyan somalis to break away, other tribes will ask for the same. so please refrain from making such reckless claims. somalis in kenya vote and have equal rights just like every other kenyan, there is no reason for them to breakaway.

if thats what they want to do then thats fine as long as there is a separation between north eastern province and somalia. if kenyan somalis want to take over peacefully i have no problem with it, i really dont care as long as they dont use their power to oppress other tribes. i also have a problem with somalis who want to export somali militant extreemism to kenya.

the wagalla massacre was a dark moment in kenyan history, its time to re-write the wrongs and to compensate the families of those affected. its time to forgive and forget. i beleive a law suit was filed at the kenyan high court on behalf of the victims families. this massacre was done by the moi/KANU regime and regular kenyans like me had no hand in it.

ironically somalis supported the Moi / KANU regime even while other kenyans fought for multi party. can someone explain that? why dont somalis ever vote for the opposition parties?

there is no brutal treatment of somalis in kenya today. somalis are not treated like second class citizens...its just not true.
