The town is filthy and has 40 shacks. Look at it from Google earth... This is the second largest habar gidr town after Dhuusamareeb and isn't even larger the Bargaal which is like the 15th largest Maxamud Saleebaan Town. Cool Laughing Laughing

Starscream,
Thank you for that interesting theory.

Unclebin-,
I am sure the lack of evidence is simply a giant conspiracy. Keep looking, I'm sure you'll find lots of evidence.

Correction, Habar-Gedir didn't build Dhuusomareeb. That town's infrastructure has been in a standstill since we left it in the 60s. Everything thats standing today were built by us before the 60s.

Dusamareb isn't that important anymore. Adado and Gelinsoor are both bigger today.
It has the potential to be a rich mining town in the future though, due to uranium deposits nearby.

Unclebin-,
I am interested in Somalia, why is that so difficult to comprehend? And yes, that is my name on Somaliaonline. WASP is inaccurate as I am neither protestant nor anglo-saxon.
Arguing that Habir Gidir are human beings is hardly a defence, except perhaps from your perspective.

Nope it means absolutely nothing to me, laakiinse somalidu waxeey tiraahdaa "nin iyo xoolahiis aragtii baa ka dhaxeeysa" so if in the near future some of my reer mudug cousins decide to retake Dhuusomareeb I'll be right there supporting them.

Caabudwaaq is probably larger than Cadaado, Guriceel, Dhuusomareeb combined.
