The other night my friends and I were having dinner at Somali restaurant "Village" in Fulham place Road. I burst out laughing when I overheard conversations at the next table. two southern blokes." ... they were having a disscussion when one of them said to his colleague "DADKAAN GADAAL KA BARTAY ADIGAA UGU FIICAN"

I wouldn't laugh so hard, since you people actually name your daughters 'Shuun'. I'd a neighbor who was called 'Shuun' and everytime her mother called out to her 'Shuuneey' all the traffic on the road used to come to a full stop.

And the messed up thing was there was a dugsi nearby, so all the kids & even Macalinka would hear the mother screaming on top of her lungs: "Shuuuneeeey".
It was a hoot!

Dabo= the hindmost part of an animal, esp. that forming a distinct
Dabadeedna = after-that
