friend of myn who just came back visit to ethiopia told me about these kind of thing ..that many somalis are becaming gaalo for different reasons ,, for money ,travel to europe or usa

Bunch of ignorants there is no compulsion in religion.

One set of my grandparents are christian and I love them and they love their muslim family regardless. I know plenty of somali christians somalia was never 100% muslim. More like 98%

the .1% comprised any of the Europeans in the country and my father did say there was one family he knew of that were Christian

of course there are many Somali christians. There are known families. I personally knew a friend who was raised up as christian in Colegio nouvo Somalo. His name was Vilberto. He was good soccer player. I also had classmate whose mother was white and her father was MM Noor Somali's central bank manager who was christian.

Not to mention, I knew the Late Micheal Mariama who used to be Somali Embassy in Tanzania whose body was brought to Somalia after his death and all Somali government, included Siyad Barre, went in Mogadishu Church to participate for his funeral!.

There are many Somalis who are christians. Period.
No surprises here.
