What Happens if Somaliland Didn't Re-take Las Canod?

If the pro-Somaliland gevorner Mr. Ali-sandule fails to give the "GO" order to the local troops and Somaliland Armed Forces, and leave the city in the hands of a foreign power.
The Consequence will be:
1-Clan based goverment such as puntland will lead new role models that would encourage others.
2-Then the credibility of Somaliland?... simply because they will believe that Somaliland will not respond.
what's your opinion?

LAFO,
Its not Somaliland that did it but disgruntled Dhulbahante who were opposed to the Gorilla in Garowe.
Capturing it is easy but making sure the Dhulbahante are satisfied is a bigger question.
Why stop at Las Canood, push towards Garowe.

I think somaliland has been on the ball this time, rather then be out smarted like last time with the u.i.c, when somaliland expected both sides to fight eachother to a standstill. Yusuf came out relativly on scathed and stronger.By takeing over las anood, somaliland has conduct3ed a pre emptive strike, and with most of yusuf's forces and money in mogdisho, this is the best time to attack
rather then wait till his stronger, couse then somaliland's chances of sucess are slim.

my opinion on this issue is, first of all, fukk somaliland
second of all, the chances of somaliland capturing garowe is about as realistic as their chances of recognition anytime in the next, i dunno, infinity years
third of all, fukk somaliland

Abdi-wahab,
Purpose to establishing clan based government "Puntland" was only to undermind Somaliland. If we let them go it will be negative role-model!. You may follow their foot steps. Rahanweynland, hawiyeland , dirland dhalfoland and cetra and cetra......
.
.
.
.
Mukhtaar,
Its time to cease hostility...cease fire must come into place ASAP.
Thanks in advance.

I think somaliland would have less proplems with both dhulbahnte and warsengeli,if it dropped the "independence" aim.
They would have no proplem with joining somaliland, and supporting it fully.

LAFO LAFO,
Now is the time for the Issaq to put up and karbaash these Harti because this is when they are weakest.
Otherwise, you will give them time to rest and rethink their position which happened in 1991 when HJ blocked the Garxajis from karbaashing the Harti which allowed the Harti to get enough breathing room and energy to declare Puntland several years later.
So better go to Garowe, or face another insurgency.
