Because the Chinese built one big road for all of Somalia. It starts around Burco or Hargeisa, goes to Laascanood, then goes to Garowe. Another one begins that starts in Bosaso, and goes down to Qardo, goes down to Garowe to intersect with the one from Laascanoo, down to Gaalkacyo, and that one goes to Xamar and then down to Kismayo, I don't know the other cities it passes.
When the Chinese were planning on building more roads, the Somalis just stole the construction material, so they said fock it.
