Caydiid who? Some warlord who rode on a crest of a populace (Hawiye-wise) movement only to end up in a one-room shack in Mogadishu bleeding to death shot by those closest kins to him.

I feel more sorry for his life story than anything..was nothing most of his life, locked up in solitary confinement for 21 years , in mortal war for 3 and was the worst kind of begger during the last 2 years of his life. Miskiin Laughing

U cant compare nelson to caydiid man......waa another legue.

waa just a name though, might effect the school a lil bit but the primary focus should be on education.

This is good news for the people of Galmudug. We are making fast progress and focusin on keen issues.

To the folks here who have a issues with the naming of this school, let me tell you that your opinions are insignificant and cheap. If you have common sense, you will understand that Caydid, might not be a great figure or hero to you, but he is to a certain general group of the Somali populations.

Well, it could very well be that I think you are from Mars, but thats a debate for another day. Again your opinions of him and who shot him are not what this topic is about. Gather your bi-polar self and lets hear what you think of the school and not the naming of it.

Dowlad.. .a mareexan planted a mine to kill huraale.. does that mean Mareexan ayaa neceb Huraale..

How the general died has no meaning in this thread..

Not to mention how Afweyne died.. in a toilet in nigeria.. thats a shame.. the General died among his people in the capital of somalia.

The last Hero of Somalia .. Galmudug will have a day in the calender where we celebrate the Heroic life of Genreal Maxamed Farax Caydiid.

xarti kid ..adigoo munaafiq bijo cabsan sidee mujaahid caydiid ugu hadli kartaa?

Dr. Dacas,

Caydid's legacy will be remembered for backstabbing his "Hawiye brothers". He's exactly like Abdullahi Yusuf in that he was super, super power hungry, greedy and willing to walk over the back of anybody to attain power. Like AY he was a good deceiver who managed to trick people into "Hawiyenimo" in order to advance his cause. He used his HG undercovers in Xamar to massacre Muloduuds in Xamar with the uniforms of the Red Berets to incite them. Abgal realized this later. He made USC under the banner of "Hawiyenimo" using money, resources and men of Muloduud, Xawadle, Murarsade etc. Then right after he got power, he turned on them and attacked them. He even killed 2x more of his Hawiye supporters than Darood or others. Today this man is only liked and admired by a few of his Sacad kinsmen, but is reviled by most of the Somali population. Whether its Darood, Muloduud, Issaq etc. he's remembered as nothing more than a leader of a little drug crazed, sleep deprived militia unit. Honestly the reason I never even insult him or curse him is out of pity especially upon the way he died. An old man with political aspirations died the death of a high on drugs 14 year old little gangster, being shot by his own kinsmen. Confused

This is the month of the Kacaan, and while all Somalis rejoice on our parents efforts in rebuilding the country, upon reflecting one will see that Habar Gidir have done absolutely nothing to advance the country. Zero. They destroyed a capitol city and wreaked havoc, and there own doings have caught up with them as there living like animals today and nobody cares because they burned all their bridges. Muloduud has Hussien Kulmoy, Aaaden Cadde. Marehan has MSB, Majerten has Abdirashid Sharmake, Issaq have Cigaal but what do HG have and what have they done for the country besides shid on it, and shoot themselves in the foot with what there going throught today?
