Jijiga is a dusty backwater. It certainly isn't the biggest city in East Africa, or even the Ogaden (Dire Dawa is bigger). Addis and Nairobi are the largest.
MadMac, that's not Jigjiga, that's Qardo in Bari. Qardo is the biggest city in East Africa, period.
And plus, Jigjiga is not "dusty" its very green and lush. Far greener than any city in Ethiopia next to Addis Ababa. Jigjiga resembles Jowhar in Somalia.
