Puntland 'news'sites becomig calacal and oohin mouthpieices.

Postby Somalistan » Mon Oct 22, 2007 8:24 pm

Every since the defeat of their militia the Puntland news sources have become calacal central...
Jidbaale.com being the worst, followed by widhwidhonline...just go read it yourself.

Shouldn't these places be sites where people come to read factual and at least bit unbiased news reports. Most of them are obsessed with isaaqs this and that...and have nothing else to report. It's expected from the defeated lot. Laughing

Meanwhile, check out the SL websites and their level of intellectual articles and point of views and do your comparison. Cool

I guess you didn't read Somalilandnet from 2002 to 2006. Embarassed

Everyone goes on an calaacal spree when things aren't going good, I don't know how this arouses you though, you seem quite happy about it, like someone licking your nuts after winning a bet over them.

intellectual articles in Somaliland websites? Which one Hanwadaag? Qaran? Somaliland? All those website see Majeerteen even in their dreams. They suffer from Majeerteenphobia to the point that they changed the Puntland Name to 'Majeerteeniya'. Puntland is the home of half od Darood and yet the only see Majeerteen Laughing

Even if Somaliland websites are being biased, they do it in sort of professional way.

I remember this article on shidshidh ( Laughing )online.. which was titled 'xaarimiyahow maxaa lagaa siiyaa darawish' Surprised <

I mean come on, can you believe a website runing things like this and yet claiming to be news source.

MJ bride, Very Happy

yes go check out hadhwanaagnews, Qaranews, etc...you won't find articles titled such as 'xaarimiyahow maxaa laga siiyaa darawish'. Confused

How can an editorial be biased? They are opinions, everyone is entitled to one. In the dulbahante/majerteen community, there is a great sense of invasion and encroachment on their lands, they are free to feel that way. The same way Somalilanders would feel if their goal of independence was threatened.

The term that SL sites refered to Puntland is Majertenia and they do so for political reasons, they don't want to include Dhulbahante and Warsangeli whom we believe are part and parcel of Somaliland.

There is great difference between stating your opinions and down right abusing the cyber engines with cries and sheding crodile tears.

Jidbaale once rolled out a video about Somaliland and called Hargeysa 'magalada naasaha leh' to sort of insult us perhaps... Laughing

Again what is there to expect this is buqland, the land headed by a man they named Cade (dellusional) Muse Boqor who went on BBC and declared that members of defeated courts were helped somaliland defeat his rag tag militia just for excuse.

Even buqland leaders have no boundaries when it comes to lying, what can we expect from their 'news' sources. Sad

Again, Somalilandnet can call Puntland "Majerteeniya" all it wants, it is called freedom of speech, its prevalent in all editorials across the board.

In some editorials, Widhwidh calls Isaaq people "Dirta Waqoyi" -- does that make it true or is that the opinion of a few writers?

You figure it out, Somalistan.

dirta waqooyi is acceptable term though we are not all dir.

But have you read other articles featured in widhwidh and jidbaale...U just have to see it to believe it, they are filled with cuqdad.
