Cali_Gaab: Almost all people have bad folkz and yiu just ran into some bad turks, but come on now somalians wouldnt be in this situation today if they were as nationalistc and proud as the Turks. It is a well known Fact that Arabs dont like Turks because they ruled them for almost over half of their Lifes so it is natural for them to hate.

I prefer neither...but if we must change it, I would to with Osmania.

No because not all somalis speak and write arabic. Even some who have memorised the quraan cannot write in arabic.

King, Turks are really, really arrogant people. I live in an area with lots of turks, and kurds are much nicer people imo.

Aliyah99: I prefer Turks over Arabs anyday. dont know about Kurdish have never even met one. but arrogance isnt a bad trait either.

The Turks I roll with are from my Uni. They have a better opinion of Somalis than you dare to think.

Aren't Somalis arrogant and xenophobic themselves? You can't fingerpoint a group if you're guilty of it yourselves.

the latin script is much easer then arabic, plus the entire world uses it and the entire IT is designed on the latin script, theres nothing more then a pain in the ass then use an Arabic script keyboard

look at this thread. it is posted in english and not somali. arabman like every poster in this thread used english when they all can write in somali, but prefer english over somali at the sametime claim latin is a western script. don't they notice their preferance of english usage and their embarrassment not to use somali? they are hypocrites.
second, why did every post turn into cussing other nationalities? the worst nationality is somali. they are all muslims who raped, destroyed and killed each other and sought refugee in the west. other countries have a functioning government, order and the rule of law, somalis don't.

so which ever is easy for you, they are both there anyway

Arabic is the language of Muslims, not Arabs

If i had any authority(presidency) in somalia(not other states),i would change latin to arabic.

arabs are trying to be like westerners and meanwhile somalis are trying to be arabs...everybody trying to climb up the ladder

just because Somalis want to use Arabic more doesn't mean they are trying to be like Arabs

I don't know why Somalis are so opposed to Arabic language, as if its foreign or some shyt

isn't a way to be more like the Prophet, Sallahu Alayhi Wasallam?

ever since the day arabs stepped foot on the horn, somalis are trying to imitate them
