Ethiopia had several civil wars; 1974, 1991, and some I can't remember. Ethiopia is always and constantly changing. From a thousand-year old monarchy to a socialist state to a "democratic" ethnic Tigray-run state.
After every great trial Ethiopia faces, they recover and get their act together. They do not hurt their beloved capital, not one inch of it, they are true nationalists, who have their limits. Politics and division will never force an Ethiopian to harm his country, it is like a soldier who kills women and children when the job does not call for it.
Ethiopia is not alone. Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Congo, Algeria, Liberia, and Sudan have all suffered catastrophic civil conflict, but all those countries have no moved on and all are progressing through time.
Somalis, are animals. They are not like the above groups because the chimpanzee trait is strong in their DNA, they are still primitive, focking animals! No answer for it, animalsss!!
Don't be silly. You can compare it to Somalia because in Somalia we didn't have a situation where authority of the country was taken from one government to be replaced by another. Siyaad Barre fought to the bitter ends.
