Somali: Improving, still bad though, but its better than being non-existent and ayeeyo does wonders when she is here, xamdullilah

Arabic: I'll go 5 lines with you, I am going to hang with the Saudis and Palestinians in my area now Cool

yes insha allah, thanks for the advice brother

and I am going to go back to studying Arabic walahi....all the stuff drilled in me as a child is gone

though I can read Qur'an, but I can't understand without looking at translation, you know? Like my dad was Hafiz in Qur'an but he didn't understand it (just was told to memorize) and he lost some of it cause he didn't practice and/or know the meaning.

so insha allah, I don't know probably at Uni I am going to take Arabic in the future insha allah

Fah,

Manshallah brother that is great mind you you have the option to learn the Arabic language in Uni or learn it by self study for example assuming your parents speak Arabic let one of them be your Teacher.

Awdal,

its just so your understanding of the Qur'an can grow more, if you expand the vocab and the root words of so many of these words you know? Anyway, thats what I think lol

Arabic is good to have, insha allah you can try to learn it
