The amount of dead and injuried depends always in enviroment in which the conflict takes place ,for example Adhicadeeye and Abeeslay the empty plaines of Sool where 2 armies shell one another will obviously kill less and make it difficult for either side to advance sine its a plain and treeless zone.
Whereas in haveily populated area like a city 10 rounds or artilary would level many houses and result in many death...mostly civilians..
So its pretty obvious..
