This has to be the stupidest question.
No one would exchange their religion to welfare and education. If they do, well they didn't believe it much in the fist place.
I don't believe there is such a thing as Ummah. You should be always accommodating and nice to other Muslims (and non-Muslims too), defend our rights and religion if it has been violated but I don't accept the notion of Ummah against others. We should also respect or at least behave in the countries than took us in.
