abtii thats why i didnt include snm in my list cuss as always you have those greedy tribalic leaders within a movement you cant just ignore some of those leaders who wanted to join the south what about guys like ismaciil buuba sifir tuur and alot of other plenty snm leaders who wanted somali unity what about their views and opnions sxb the name says it all somali national movement not somalilands national movement

If you ask me, then it would be the SNM because it accomplished its overall strategic objectives which was to curve out a state for their people free from Southern barberic rule. They have done it and the rest have done it! Simple truth!

SNM = Never fought for "Somaliland" or independence at all. They fought against "Faqash" who were from all qabiils: Issaq, Hawiye, Darood, etc.

SSDF = The Original Movement of Rebels. They are the ones that overthrew Siyaad Barre by getting him into fights with the Hawiye, Issaq, Eelay and all none Daroods.

USC = The movement that cut off the snake's head. Without the USC, Barre would have still been terrorizing Somalia.

Dude, I still admire how the Majeerten cut a deal with the USC and left their SNF allies out to dry. The Habar Gidir esp.the Saleban had a field day with the Marexan and took their territories in Mudug.
