King Abdullah is in Town... Wooop woop!!!!!

Postby Lil_Cutie.. » Wed Oct 31, 2007 7:53 pm

He arrived 2days ago, with 7 planes about 400 people (apparently), 3 hours of luggage loading and red carpet treatment for the king!
If only you could see pictures of him surrounded left right centre by his men and skinny british guards trying to fit in.. There was one that cracked me up, where he was standing next to Prince Charles, Abdullah ofcourse the 'healthy' guy he is, big body, in his Khamis and Charles in his Grey suit skinny and winkley as ever!... I mean damn, Abdullah looks younger and it's clear whose the rich one.

He even climbed in a gold carriage and took a ride down London's Mall to Buckingham Palace with Queen Elizabeth today.
The 83-year-old Saudi monarch kicks off a five-country tour of Europe with a three-day visit to London -- the first state visit to Britain by a Saudi king in 20 years. He will stay as a guest of honour at Buckingham Palace, hold talks with Prime Minister Gordon Brown and attend a gala banquet at the Guildhall hosted by the Lord Mayor of London.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& ...The Saudi flags are flying along the road to Buckingham Palace Shocked Surprised Surprised

They are really pulling all the strings for him. Very Happy

It looks like the Saudi Monarchy are back with their family. What a re-union though, 7 planes full of Princess & Princesses, 400 hundred member entourage, thousands of suitcases. Its good to spend someone else's money and flaunt it.

Lil_Cutie,

Yes, do take that picture! I think poor old OBL is dying of envy, he never gets such royal treatment, they say the hills of Tora Bora are no luxury.

Lil_Cutie,

But you must understand that both "royal" families are cut from the same cloth. The British Monarchy invented the house of Ibn Saud and created the Saudi Kingdom. To me, I see a child returning to its mother. Smile
