I've recently completed my first Modem bypassing... realised the telewest boxes can easily get chipped.. but struggle to do the same with the satallite receiver .... the chipping of receivers have differrent type of encryptions ..

Any tips or good links for info will be much appreciated??

i got illegal box/receiver for telewest

sky is hard i think you need card for that one

but if you got cable/telewest

you should be looking for a box

you cannot chip a sky box because there signal is via satelite and not phone cables.

What you can do is get a cheap package on sky and then buy this decoder off ebay and it lets all the channels through including box office and other paper view.

I dont know if this is still available.

but i pay 36 quid a month for fone, tv including sky sports and broadband, so that is not too bad.

Phd.. you got a chipped telewest box.. it used to be done in china... now you get the equipment and the knowledge and you can do it yourself..

remember to pay your tv licencing.. if the bust in and find the shidh .. you could face some serious charges.

Recently by passed my old telewest blueyonder modem..
which means free 8MB internet connection.. i need to avoid using up alot of bandwith... with downloads..
