Remember that the current Tigrean-led administration in Addis doesn't reflect the views of many Ethiopians who are vehemently against the Tigree occupation of Somalia. Check this:

success can be achieved without asking others to join the cause.ONLF accomplish things everyday. They accomplish results and more. ONLF succeed everyday in the battlefield as well as politically.

Oh, come on....don't compare Hiiraale to C/Yussuf.......
Yes, Hiiraale is a respected figure and he has never initiated any hostility towards any Somalis be they Hawiye or Darood or otherwise.
If someone goes to Addis for dialogue that doesn't necessarily mean he is a bad person......he could go to Kenya, he was just in Asmara.
What matters is what he does when he comes back from Addis.......
We both know who was itching to have Ethio troops in Somalia since '70s and it wasn't Hiiraale.
He was actually using his Def. Minister position to veto the influx of Ethiopian troops until the brain dead ICU caused EU, US, Arab League to subtly authorize and fund Ethiopian involvement in Somalia.

A respected figure? in whose eyes though? the only man I respect is Sheik Shariff..
Regardless of what Barre Hiiraale is doing in addis ababa.. he still held talks and is willing to negotiate with christians just like my uncle Cabdullahi.
